Riders,

Riderzinni and myself are thinking of getting new carbon bikes. Below are the details of what we are looking at; we would appreicate comments and suggested changes to this:

I am not sure how fast we will go, but with the ranch outfit and these bikes we will certainly look the part ;-)

WEEKLY REPORT

Another week went by...

Mon - off
Tue - spin am / run pm
Wed - spin am
Thur - run pm (followed by desk dinner/drinks/club)
Fri - nothing (the spin am dis not happen due to the results of the prior night)
Sat - Swimming lesson am / Hyde park run pm (1:15 - 14km). Very nice sunset. Big red ball of fire!
Sun - Cycle ride Richmond park - not too long as I was introducing the place to a friend who was cycling for the first time...who knows? we may have another rider joining the group!!

Today is off again though I may go to the pool to do some drills I was told by the swimming instructor...

I have to admit that I am not following the diet as good as I should but I am feeling better...hopefully I'll be fit enough when the summer comes!

Turville Bootie Ride

Ridermama and Riderturbo had a brisk 2007 season opener ride on Sunday in Turville. Thermal socks and booties kept our tootsies toasty over a gentle tempo ride that kept heart rates low and the scenery pleasant. Our black lab Jake guarded the car after a romp up to the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang windmill and we chomped on seeds, fruit and skimmed-milk afterward for a complete carb/protein recovery. Its lookin' good for 2007 on the Ranch.

As the rest of the numbnuts were buying flowers and fancy dan dinners for their lady friends - 4 hardcore ranch cyclists were evaluating their lactic acid thresholds with Dr. Andy Reid. They win. RiderCali, RiderTurbo, RiderPitts, and Londons newest millionaire - RiderCrespo.

ridereazyE finds himself up to no good post a back to back spin class at the reebok club - riderpitts and ridereasyE scoffed at the first hour class - and doubled it up with another hour - as the rest of the class fixed their hair and towelled off.

ANOTHER WEEK

Mon - off
Tue - spin am / run pm
Wed - spin am
Thur - run pm
Fri - spin am (the instructor was not there, so I grabbed a CD and coached my own class) / party at night!!
Sat - run in hyde park/kensington gardens...I like London!!
Sun - Ride in Richmond park with rider eazy-e, rider cali, and riderlito...there and back from South Ken plus 4 lasp in the park...it continued with pasta and a movie!

Today is off again...
